Richard Fenster has spent 30 years behind the camera, but it's his second career, in senior business strategy and brand management, that changes what a photo shoot actually accomplishes for a real estate agent. Most photographers in Calgary sell you images of a house. Richard builds a visual identity for the agent behind the listing, one photo, one video, and one drone shot at a time. The difference shows up months later, when a past client remembers the name on the sign, not just the house they toured.

Castle Mountain Media opened its doors on August 1, 2025, about a year after Richard relocated to Calgary. The idea was simple. Agents in this city deserved media that looked as sharp and deliberate as the brands they were trying to build, delivered without the back and forth that slows most shoots down. That idea hasn't changed. Every project, whether it's full interior and exterior photos or room measurements & floorplans, gets the same treatment: shot with the agent's brand in mind, not just the square footage.

Castle Mountain Media is family owned and based right here in Calgary, working across the city and the towns around it. Richard is usually the one behind the camera and the one who answers the phone, so the person you talk to is the person doing the shoot.
